Moroccan Teacher Wins “Global Teacher Award 2024” in India

Moroccan teacher Massoud Arabiya, who teaches at Ibn Ashir Schools in Taroudant, was honored with the “Global Teacher Award 2024” organized by the international organization “AKS” in New Delhi, India, This prestigious global award celebrates outstanding educators from around the world and recognizes their exceptional contributions to education.
Arabiya stood out among thousands of candidates worldwide, becoming the sole representative of the Arab world and North Africa among the winners. He expressed his joy and pride in receiving this accolade, considering it the culmination of years of dedicated efforts to enhance teaching methods, particularly in mathematics, which he introduced to students through an engaging and theatrical approach.
Arabiya explained that his project, “Math Kids,” transforms the teaching of mathematics into an interactive experience that simplifies concepts and motivates children to learn, He emphasized that theatrical activities are not merely entertainment but a powerful educational tool that develops students’ scientific competencies. He also applied this approach to teaching “Scientific Activities” through educational plays designed for young learners.
The “Global Teacher Award” aims to highlight inspiring educators who create positive change in education while emphasizing their crucial role in building cohesive communities and shaping knowledgeable and impactful generations.
