Morocco: Terrorist Cell Dismantled While Planning Attacks

Based on accurate intelligence provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGTS), the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (CBI) managed to foil an imminent terrorist plot in the early hours of Sunday morning, as the suspects were in the final stages of preparing to carry out explosive operations.
According to a statement issued by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the security operation, carried out in coordination between the special force of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance and the officers and agents of the Central Bureau, with field support from the Air Division and the Judicial Center of the Royal Gendarmerie, resulted in the arrest of four extremists, including three brothers, aged between 26 and 35, linked to the terrorist organization “Daesh”, who were active in the Hadd El Soualem area of Bercheid province ,The raids were carried out in two separate loca.
