South Africa Slams “Disinformation Campaign” After U.S. Freezes Aid
The South African government condemned a “disinformation campaign” following U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order to freeze aid, accusing the country of being aggressive toward the U.S. Trump criticized South Africa’s land reform law, calling it discriminatory against white farmers.
In response, the South African government rejected these claims, stating that the order was based on “false assumptions” and ignored the nation’s history of colonialism and apartheid.
