Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani is set to participate in the annual Africa CEO Forum, scheduled to take place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on May 12 and 13. The event brings together a wide range of top African and international business leaders and policy makers.
President Ghazouani is expected to depart Nouakchott on Sunday, heading to the Ivorian economic capital for what is considered the continent’s largest international gathering of the private sector. The forum is expected to welcome around 2,000 participants from 73 countries, including 350 government representatives, over 650 women entrepreneurs, and 250 journalists.
Over two days, the summit will feature high-level conferences, panel discussions, and networking sessions focused on highlighting the growing role of the private sector in Africa’s development. It will also serve as a platform for dialogue between decision-makers and investors, as well as a catalyst for creating investment opportunities in a business-friendly environment.
According to the event organizers, the forum offers a strategic opportunity to strengthen economic ties, share insights on the continent’s development trajectory, and benefit from expert analysis provided by leading global consulting firms.
