Niger – Morocco: High-Level Meeting to Strengthen Military and Strategic Cooperation Between the Two Countries

As part of efforts to enhance international cooperation, the National Center for Strategic and Security Studies (CNESS) in Niger welcomed Colonel Adil Rajai, the Military Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco to Niger, on Wednesday.

The meeting focused on ways to deepen collaboration in scientific research related to strategic and security studies through the exchange of expertise and experiences, with particular emphasis on the multiple and complex challenges facing peace and security in the region.

During the session, Colonel-Major Mahamadou Nouhou Bako, Director of CNESS, provided a comprehensive presentation on the center’s history, organizational structure, activities, and objectives, underscoring its role as a national institution that supports decision-makers in the fields of defense, security, and development.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties expressing their commitment to continuing joint efforts and intensifying cooperation to address security challenges and promote regional stability.
